Instrumental Music Program
Children in Years 5 and 6 have the opportunity to participate in the Instrumental Music Program. This program provides the selected students with tuition in one of a variety of brass or percussion instruments.
A Year 5 Band and a Year 6 Band run concurrently. The tuition is provided by an itinerant music teacher, with the support of a Florey teacher for each band. Lessons are held twice per week in school time, and the Florey staff members run extra practice sessions.
